Policies:
Reservations. Events must be scheduled at least four weeks in advance
of the client’s desired party date, unless otherwise agreed upon between Fun Princess Parties and the client. A client’s
inquiry and/or request for information does not secure an event date. Only Fun Princess Parties receipt of the client’s
deposit and completed event agreement will reserve an event date. The client must complete and sign the Fun Princess Parties
event agreement and return it via mail or e-mail with a deposit of 50% of the estimated pre-tax total to confirm and secure
the reservation.
Last minute Party's - If the date and time is available we can schedule last minute party, party's
scheduled with less than two weeks until the party date require the contract to be scanned to Fun Princess Parties, and payment
made in FULL via pay-pal 4 days prior to party.
Forms of payment. Fun Princess Parties
accepts payment of the deposit in the form of a check, cash, or credit card payment via pay-pal. A $25 NSF fee will be assessed
for returned checks. Payment of the balance is due four days prior to your event via pay-pal.
Mileage fee.
Fun Princess Parties adds a mileage fee of $1 per mile, one way for events held within the Houston metropolitan area.
There is no mileage fee applied to events within 20 miles of the zip code 77546 We are available to travel beyond the Houston
metropolitan area, but additional travel-related fees will apply.
Cancellation prior to the event day. If the client cancels the event
for any reason at least three weeks prior to the event date, Fun Princess Parties will refund 50% of the deposit, and will
retain the other half of the deposit as the cancellation fee. A client who cancels within 1 week prior to the event date will
forfeit the entire deposit.
Our
goal is to be on time; however, circumstances beyond our control may delay the arrival of your character. Please
allow a 15 minute grace period. If your princess will be delayed any longer than that time, you will receive a phone
call. Although never anticipated and highly unlikely, should a character be delayed for more than 30 minutes, you have
the option to cancel the party with a full refund, or accept the character at a 20% discount
Client MUST be able to be reached on the day of the event. If client
can not be reached with the number provided in the event of a Fun Princess becoming lost, the client will forfeit the deposit.
Cancellation
on the event day. In the event that Fun Princess Parties experiences a personal emergency not due
to the client or inclement weather and we cannot provide the client’s event, we will refund all monies the client has
paid to us for the event. If we must cancel the client’s event due to inclement weather or any other act of nature beyond
our control, we will work with the client to reschedule the event.
RSVP confirmation. The
client will confirm the final guest count and provide it to Fun Princess Parties at least seven days prior to the event. Fun
Princess Parties will use this confirmed guest count to make preparations for the client’s event. This final guest count
also will be used to calculate the client’s balance, and the client will be invoiced accordingly. Payment of the invoice
is to be received at least four days before the client’s event. Additional charges will apply if the number of guests
on the day of the event exceeds the final guest count provided by the client.
Late arrivals.
Because Fun Princess Parties events are based on a pre-determined schedule, it is very important that guests arrive
on time. Late guests will be allowed to join the event at whatever point to which it has progressed. However,
Fun Princess Parties will not recreate the missed activities for late guests. The late guest’s parent or the client
may assist the guest with completing missed activities (make-up, costume selection, craft, etc.).
Illness, discipline and
non-participation of guests. Children who become ill, need discipline or do not wish to participate in the event
activities are the responsibility of the client or the child’s parent. The Fun Princess Parties event director will
alert the client in the event a situation arises with any of the guests so that the client or the child’s parent may
handle any inappropriate behavior or illness of guests. Clients are to remain with the party at all times.
Outdoor
parties. Weather permitting, Fun Princess Parties will provide the client’s event outdoors on a large, paved
and covered/shaded courtyard type area, but if the weather is not appropriate or the outdoor area is not appropriate for the
type of party we are providing for you, we cannot set up outdoors. So please have an alternate plan. If the event is held
outdoors, Fun Princess Parties will not be responsible for providing sunscreen or insect repellent for guests. If sunscreen
or insect repellent is used, the client will be held responsible for any damage to Fun Princess Parties accessories.
Changes
to the party package. When necessary, Fun Princess Parties may make changes to the provisions offered in a party
package to enhance or better accommodate the client’s event, based upon the party location, guests’ ages or gender
or the number of party guests, etc. Fun Princess Parties reserves the right to alter the packages when
we deem necessary (i.e. due to out of stock items, a vendors’ unavailability, etc.), without notice. We will always
provide equal or better quality for any substitutions.
Pets. Fun Princess Parties
cannot provide an event in an area where there are pets (dogs, cats, etc.). Pets present a level of risk to the damage of
our inventory. Fantasy Celebrations does not allow pets to be included in the events and we require that clients keep pets
secured in a location away from any area where our items (costumes, tables, chairs, etc.) are located.
Smoke.
Fun Princess Parties will not provide an event in an area where smoking is allowed and/or the scent of smoke is evident
to us. The smoke scent permeates our costumes, linens, etc. and causes us undue cleaning costs.
Liability
Fun
Princess Parties and event director Laura Murdock assume no responsibility or liability for accidents or damages to the client,
contracting party or event guests. The event director will provide the client with courteous, professional services and will
work to treat the event site with care and respect. In the event of damage to or loss of Fun Princess Parties inventory
and/or damage or loss to the party’s location, the financial responsibility lies entirely on the client.
Neither
Fun Princess Parties nor Laura Murdock are responsible for allergic reactions or any other medical
reaction stemming from the food/beverages,
wearing of costumes or any activity taken place before, during and/orafter the party. In the case of liability and/or financial
remuneration due to the aforementioned, the responsibility lies strictly with the client.
